This year, to celebrate the Memorial Day Weekend, the church will host an old fashioned hymn sing, and then the Pastor will play the role of Rev. William Sherlock Huggett, who grew up in England and immigrated to the United States by way of Ellis Island in 1898. Huggett will share his story of traveling to New Mexico by immigrant train, and his life as a Pastor in the Methodist Episcopal Church, South in New Mexico and West Texas. He will also speak about the regrettable association that he and some other Methodist pastors in El Paso once had with the Ku Klux Klan there. A fellowship time will follow afterwards, and all are invited to attend.

Rev. Will Steinsiek is a graduate of UNM and the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He was ordained in 1978. He is an "expository" preacher, researching and taking his message each week from the Bible. He also serves as the Archivist for the NM Conference, and is well versed in church history, which he shares frequently.
Jan Larson is our incredibly talented musician providing the music for our worship service. Methodists love to sing! So each week Jan selects familiar hymns from our United Methodist Hymnal and on Sunday a small adhoc group gathers to practice just before the service, and Jan quickly turns them into a Choir! We are blessed to have her share her talent with us.
Jerome not only keeps both the inside and the outside of the Church and ground looking good, but he often serves as our liturgist, AND is able to play the organ for us whenever Jan is out of town! His service to the church in so many ways is greatly appreciated.
